Considering the fact that most of these cars were mistreated and under appreciated, this is a 2 owner car, originally owned by a female who drove it till 102k miles. Then we made all necessary repairs and did any other work that needed to be done. After that, she sold the car to a friend of ours who only drove it for a couple thousand miles, and kept it inside always. This is one of the few Z28s of this era that has not been driven hard and has been kept clean and waxed during its life. Although this car has been well taken care of and maintained, they still had us do a complete repaint, tires, Optispark ignition, tune up, and all necessary maintenance, before it was sold to the second owner. The body was already excellent, it had a slight crease in the left rear quarter panel, which was properly repaired. Most of the paint was actually good, but the decision was made to completely repaint instead of repairing the one spot. This paint job is not your average paint job. It was done correctly, deep sanded, primed, repainted and clear coated, sanded and polished, with all parts removed (door handles, weather strip, etc). Paint and clear coated all jambs, openings, etc. Used only top of the line primers and paint materials. Car has been repainted in the original shade of red. Trans was recently pulled and a new clutch installed. Clutch did not actually go out, we just did it for good measure. 4 new Fuzion ZR-1 tires (factory size), brakes were done around 100k miles. Exhaust is all original and in excellent condition. Drives excellent, shifts perfect, runs great. No noises. Cruise control works. A/C blows ice cold. Top is in excellent shape.
