1937 Ford 5 Window Coupe I’m relisting my car due to the winning bidder’s untimely and unfortunate circumstances prohibiting him from completing the purchase of this stunning automobile. This car was really found in a barn in North Carolina back in 1996. See the photos. The car was purchased by a church group in 1996 for their pastor. It was then trailered back to Texas where it underwent a complete restoration. I have a photo album documenting where the car was found, the trip back to Texas, and the complete restoration of the car. This is a very desirable all original steel car. The car was repaint back to its original color, Washington Blue. The interior has also been restored to original condition using the correct materials and color, Tan Mohair. From front to rear the chassis is all new, it has been sand blasted and painted. The original 85hp Flathead V8 has been completely machined and rebuilt to factory specs. A few points of interest, during the restoration a new wiring harness was installed, all brakes and cables were replaced, a new fuel tank, fuel lines, window seals, and felts were installed. The 37 Ford has made quite an impact on the street rod community. In fact it’s the most sought after model year today. With fiberglass cars bringing 50 - 100k, an all steel find like this is a great start for any street rod enthusiast.
