My Track T is based on a Speedway Motors '27 Ford Track T kit, Front suspension is a tube axle, hairpin radius rods, transverse leaf spring (all painted), with chrome shocks. Rear suspension is a combination quarter-elliptic leaf spring with radius rods, and shock absorbers, locating a nine inch Ford rearend (3.70:1 gears as I recall). Engine and transmission are from a '74 Mustang (carbureted 2.8 liter V6 with a C4 automatic transmission) and a new driveshaft. Wheels are Halibrand Sprint, with Michelin tires in front and BFGoodrich T/A radials in back. Brakes are GM disc in front with Ford drums in rear. Radiator is a custom built aluminum unit from Portell's Radiator, and the fuel tank is stainless steel with approximately 9 gallon capacity. Steering column and drop are from Speedway , while the steering wheel is of unknown origin. Gauges are VDO Series 1 electric with programmable speedo, shifter and e-brake are from Lokar. The hood is aluminum with louvers. Paint is PPG VW Harvest Moon (light tan/almond) with PPG Medium Mocha scallops. Taillights are’50 Pontiac .
