This 2003 Ford F-150 4x4 Pick-up is offered as a “parts” vehicle only, as the undercarriage is severely rusted. This vehicle spent most of its service life on the beaches of Fire Island and although the chassis has been repaired a number of times over the years, we do not feel it is roadworthy in its current condition. Offered “as is/ where is” with no warrantees expressed or implied. It is powered by a 4.6 Liter V8 gasoline engine, with an automatic transmission and a 3.73 ratio limited slip differential. Engine runs well. The service engine soon light is on. Tranny shifts smoothly, but the shift indicator is broken. Rear-end needs rebuild. Excessive play in pinion bearing and fluid leak. 4 wheel drive is operational. Ball joints are worn. Brake rotors heavily scored. Frame rotted through in several places. Body dented and rotted in a number of spots. Driver’s door damaged from hitting fender. Front bumper cover damaged. License plate light does not work. Windshield washer not working. Interior in poor shape. The seat is ripped on the driver and passenger sides. A/C does not blow cold air. ABS light is on. Glove box does not stay closed Tires in fairly good condition. This vehicle is owned by a municipality and inquiries can only be responded to during the normal business hours of 8:00am to 4:00pm (eastern time), Monday through Friday. Email inquiries sent over a weekend or holiday will be answered on the next regular business day. The successful bidder must pick the vehicle up at our location in Oakdale, Long Island, New York and a certified bank check from a U.S. bank with a branch in New York State or U.S. Post Office money orders are the only forms of payment accepted. No cash. Full payment is expected within 7 days of the auctions close. A copy of the buyer’s driver’s license is required to complete the transaction.
