Vehicle Detail
1993 Jaquar XJ6 Vanden Plas Sedan Driving Condition ABS (4 wheel), A/C, Power Windows, Power Door Locks, Cruise Control, Power Steering, Tilt Wheel, Am/Fm Stereo, Cassette, Dual Power Seats, Leather, Sun Roof, Alloy Wheels, Dual Automatic to Sport Transmission. I purchased this vehicle in 2006 and have driven it only in the winter months, and only in Florida. When I purchased the vehicle, it had 97000 miles. Shortly after that, the odometer failed and I have no idea how many miles are presently on the car. My estimate is approximately 110000 to 118000. The car drives beautifully and is one of the smoothest riding cars I have ever driven. It's condition is used. The following list of problems with the car are as follows: Fog lights no longer attached to electrical, thus do not work. Speedometer and odometer no longer work. Head liner has disattached and has been reglued unprofessionally. Front leather seats are well well worn. Windshield washer nozzles no longer spray out cleanly, but does put out a fountain of water. When the car is turned on, the lamp and fuse indicator lights on dash board stay on. Mechanically I have had the head gaskets replaced, cooling system reconditioned, universal replaced, put on two new tires, new battery, alternator rebuilt, gas gauge float replaced, and fuel pump replaced. According to the mechanic that has serviced this car, most of the car problems have been due to the fact that the car is not being used. In other words, it sits more rather than being driven. The car appears to have still it's original paint which appears rough and scratchy in places. This is due to age and the heat of the strong sun in Florida. There is only one minor minor dent on the pin stripping of the passenger door. The dent is so minor that a photo does not show it. It appears to be done from another car door in a parking lot. There is minor minor rust around some of the bolts around the trunk area and the plate around the driver's licence plate lights. Other than that, the car is quite free of rust, that I can see. If you have any questions, please ask. I will do my best to try to answer them. Selling As Is.
