This car was listed once before, I was furious when it was reported to have been in two accidents. I have owned this car since 2002 and haven't had any accidents and I am the only driver. I purchased a Carfax report prior to buying this car and one fender bender had been reported, inspection by a third party indicated no damage. I purchased it GM certified with a GM extended warranty from Steve Moore Chevrolet in Lake Worth, FL. I enjoyed the car for nine years, had service performed and minor repairs (window motors, column lock) under the extended warranty and decided it was time to change midlife crisis cars. This is when I listed the car and the second incident was reported, this incident happened 11 months prior to my purchase of the Carfax report. This would seem to be sufficient time to appear on the Carfax but it wasn't there. This should indicate to anyone purchasing a previously owned vehicle the true value of a Carfax report. I have to admit I would not have purchased this car at the time with two accidents but that would have been a mistake as this car has been a pleasure to own and drive. I do alot of the simple maintenance on this car and I cannot find a single indicator of any damage anywhere on this car. I have driven it at high speed on the open road and around town and it handles as it should. It has been to the alignment shop and a four wheel alignment was performed with no issues, all door, hood and hatchback gaps are straight and well within tolerance. This car has all available options including heads up display, two zone a/c controls, power passenger and drivers seats, traction control system, onboard computer system with realtime reporting on vehicle systems as well as fuel usage and trip information, Boze premium sound and two removeable roof panels. One panel is body colored (Pewter Metallic) and the other is a GM smoked glass panel. Upgrades include Bilstein gas charged shocks and Baer slotted cross drilled rotors on all four corners and an SLP Engineering "Bat Wing" cold air intake with a K&N air filter. All original GM parts removed are good and go with the car. I would invite anyone to inspect this car or have a quaified inspector check it, I have a lift I will make available to anyone interested.
