1988 CAMARO IROC-Z. I bought this car for my daughter in 2004. Since I have owned this car the engine was completley rebuilt in 2006 it was painted in 2007 and the transmission was rebuilt last march. The paint is very nice with the exception of the rear bumper where someone backed into it at the market( see pics) . This car looks and runs great. The front seats will need upholstered and the carpet should be replaced. Other than that the interior is very nice. The engine is the 5.0 F vin code TPI. The transmission is the 700R4 a/t overdrive.. It has A/C P/S P/D/B POWER TRUNK PULL DOWN. The windows and locks are manual. Although this car runs perfectley it has failed smog due to an evaporative emisions leak. This leak is at the fuel tank which has to be removed for the repair. this is a repair that must be done on a lift. Only bid on this car if you are willing to accept the responsibility of repairing the evap leak before smogging it. This car could be driven home with a D.M.V. temp pass. Ask all questions before bidding, winning bidder is responsible for the transportation of this vehicle. this is a very solid car that has never been molested.
