Vehicle Detail

IMPORTANT NOTICE: THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION, BUT BEFORE BIDDING, PLEASE READ CAREFULLY THE WHOLE DESCRIPTION !!!! I bought this car last year and my ideea was to turn it into a street rod and to install a ford or chevy engine on it.I liked the ideea of transforming it into a street rod because of it's post-war shape and the beautiful suicide doors.Once I've been to a street rod cars show and there was an european street rod and a lot of people were saying that they would like to see more of these european street rods in US, cause they are pretty rare. I've changed my mind after I talked to a friend of mine from California, who is more experienced in Mercedes restoration and told me that the car is in its original condition and it would be better to restore it like it is, because Mercedes-Benz grows up in value every year, more than most of the cars.Something came up , meantime, and I don't have the time and money now to finish this project myself.Anyway I wanna present a few things about the car: I am the second owner, first one owned the car from 1953 till last year, when I bought it from him and I have an 1953 Mercedes Benz clear title in my hand.I consider this car a project because a lot of things are not show quality: the paint is bad and it has touch-ups, chrome has pitting, interior is in its beautiful original shape, but is very old, engine is not running...... but the dash with all the gauges, the steering wheel and the beautiful vintage wood radio are in a very, very good shape, as you can see in the pictures, also I like the turn signal lights between the doors because they have a pre-war cars look.Mileage is unknown.Of course it has some rust cause is a 1953, unmolested car, but I still consider it a very strong candidate for any restauration. If you wanted a project car like this, this is your chance to have it, so bid on it cause there's not too many left out there , in this beautiful original condition, because you know the restored ones are newer than new.I include with this listing a lot of pictures, so you can see what you're bidding on. The last two pictures in this listing are samples only, with the same Mercedes, but in a Street Rod version, something similar with what I wanted to do in the first place, but, like I said, is probably gonna go up in value if restaured in its original condition.Car is located in Phoenix, Arizona. Please DO NOT BID if you wanna buy a turn key car, this is a project, or do not bid if you don't have the funds to pay for it. Shipping is buyer responsability, International bidders, I can help with the shipping. I reserve the right to stop this auction at any time. GOOD LUCK !!!
