I am selling my 1964 corvair with a no reserve auction.Engine runs strong uses no oil.Transmition is good with a 2 speed on dash.Overall exterior look good some imperfections as small chips in paint and small scratches and one light ding on the rear bumper it's very very small but not too noticable.one side has scrape on the lower aluminium trim under the lower body but not real noticable.car was repainted in the early ninety's.There might be a few rust spots on exterior but not noticable.overall the body is solid.under the car is a film of light rust but it's solid. the is a 2 by 5 spot the the rust ate through but the previous owner sealed it.The floors are solid under then car.The sender unit in the gas tank probally needs to be replaced in the future it was sealed with silicon on the outside to prevent gas drip leak.It seems to work well but the wire is not hooked up and the gas gauge will not read the amount of fuel.The blinkers are not working and all of a sudden the right tail light doesn't come on.I feel like all these are minor repairs to fix and inexpensive but I haven't the time to do this.The interior looks very nice with new seat covers but have not put the new replacement lower seats in the front because the old ones look very good.I have the new ones.no tears in roof or door panels but could use some cleaning.all brakes are new but need to be adjusted.New battery,plugs condenser and points.Tirs are very good.Car has a exterior cover for it.lots of books including shop manuels.I have service records up to 2003.The front trunk looks nice with light runt spots but solid.The car runs well but probally needs a tune up to get the motor perfect.I have described this car the best I can do.It is 47 years old and far from perfect.Please do not bid on thid car if you think its perfect because it is not.Cash only.email me if you want additional photos of certian areas.I have a clear title on hand.since 1989 the car has always been in the garage.
