I have a very rare 57 pontiac super chief , this is a 347 cubic inch v8 engine backed by a hydra- matic 4 speed auto trans.this car has over 10,000 dollars in recipts in last 5 years , it has had the documented 53000 original moter rebuilt at 51000, it got new new rings, bearings,valve seals gaskets etc. it has had the full brake system redone, with new brake lines, new master cylinder, all 4 new wheel cylinders and so on. this car runs and drives great, i drive it every day. the interior is in very good shape no tears in seats, or headliner, the dash and intrument panel are almost fl;awless. the heater works good am radio works and so on. on the interior it does need 2 window cranks, and on the driver side door panel is starting to come apart at the bottom edge. this car has all the trim, original hub caps. lots of receipts, runs great, and is very rare at a production of 15,153 a very highly collectable car. Now why this car is not going to be 15,000 bucks, she has some pretty bad rust through on both rockers, and a little on the bottom of the doors, and needs a refurbished rear bumper. if someone wants to do some metal work they stand to make quite a few dollars if wanted, or drive everyday in a rare pontiac as it is, like i do. thanks for your interest
