Here's a very nice Mercedes-Benz SL for the price. Low miles engine and transmission that are in good working order along with brakes that stop the car properly. This is a daily driver quality car with paint that is presentable, but not perfect. Very solid car with virtually no rust. It has two areas of concern. First off, no rust holes in this car. It has a very small, minute blemish of surface rust just above the chrome trunk lid handle just the right of center. The bonnet that covers the soft top has surface rust/paint bubbling in a few sections around the soft top metal cover. When either the soft or hardtop are on, you can not see the blemishes. These are very minor blemishes, only the paint is blistering/bubbling. Not able to see any rust, but that is what is causing it. Interior is also in very good shape, beautiful dash, not all cracked up from the sun. The Seats have no rip or tears, the driver's side seat has a little fading on the side. Odometer ceased to work at the mileage listed in the ad. Have seen this happen on other SL's that I have sold. Speedometer works fine, as well as the tach. But from the condition of the car you can tell that this car is a low miles Benz. The soft top is a beautiful canvas style, but does have a couple of issues that does not make her completely water tight, but should be good enough if you do get caught in the rain. You can get a new canvas top for around $300 on eBay. Overall a very nice car for the price!!!
