You are bidding on a 1980 INDY pace car turbo trans am. Car is all original except for the stereo. Car is rust free except for the the under side of the very back of the rear deck lid (see pics). Water has leaked trough where the rear spoiler was attached, and rust out the under side of the trunk lid under the spoiler ( not visible from out side the car). The original 4.9 turbo engine runs good, and it has had a recent valve job. The turbo works good. Transmission seems to work good, but shifts a little ruff. Previous owner said that the heater core was leaking so he by passed it. Body straight and rust free (except for the rust previously stated), except for one small dent in left side of front bumper (see pics) and the usual door dings. Paint and decals faded. The interior has some wear, not supper bad except, getting some tears in the drivers seat, and there are cracks in the dash. The interior needs a good detail. The T -TOP's are in very good condition. The tires are fair, but the wheels are excellent. New battery. This is a car you can drive and have fun with, as you fix her up. The title is clear, but it is an Oregon title and it is not in my name. The previous owner singed off on it, but the space for the new owner is blank. It can be filled in by the buyer. My zip here is 83616. Because the car has no current tags, and the tires are only fair, I would suggest that unless you live close buy, you should trailer the car home. TEARMS: A $500 deposit is due with in 48 hours of end of auction. The balance is due with in 7 days of end of auction, and can be made buy money order, cashiers cheek, or cash in person. If paying with cheek or money order ,then you can not pick up car until all funds have cleared my bank. Car must be picked up with in 90 days of end of auction, unless other arrangements were made prior to end of auction. If not picked up with in 90 days a $5.00 storage fee will be placed on car.
