Vehicle Detail

This is my daily driver and the 2.0 is SOLID. Starts up every time and it's been in the teens here in Louisville. Very dependable car that I planned on keeping forever. Escorts are a breeze to work on and those 2.0's run forever. Transmission shifts flawlessly. Unfortunately, I'm about to lose my job so it looks like my wife and I have to share her Mazda. I worked out of town many weekends and drove this Escort and it's 32 mpg and laughed while pumping gas. I wouldn't hesitate to hop in it and drive to California. Please note that due to nonpaying bidders I need a $500 deposit within 48 hours and the balance within 7 days. If you can't do that DO NOT BID. For $50 I'm willing to drive the car up to 200 miles from Louisville, Ky to deliver it or meet you. I'd be happy to bring the car to you at the Louisville bus station or airport for free. Includes mint Haynes repair Manual. Car doesn't misfire at all. It doesn't burn anything and it doesn't leak a drop. Your garage floor will remain clean. Oil is changed religously every 3000 miles. The coolant sensor on the side of the engine block by the thermostat housing is bad and the check coolant light randomly comes on. There's no coolant leak though and the temperature gauge works perfect. Radio is factory with cassette and works perfect. The only rust is the spot in the picture just above the drivers side rear wheel well. The front bumper has a crack in it and a quarter sized hole but it's been like that since I've had it and hasn't getten any worse or anything. The hood release quit working and it was going to be a pain to replace so I put in a couple of hood pins. Here's the maintenance list: Plugs and plug wires 3,000 miles ago. New 95 amp Alternator 300 miles ago . Front brakes 200 miles ago. New (not junkyard) front bearings and hubs 200 miles ago. Battery replaced 1 year ago. New front tires 4 months/800 miles ago. Rear tires are about 50%. Heater core flushed with CLR this winter and it blows hot. A/C was charged last spring but by August wasn't cold anymore. Headlights plastic buffed with clearing kit 6 months ago. No yellowing and brighter headlights. All bulbs work. License plate valid until December. Car has not been smoked in while I've owned it (3 years). Front seats are good. Small burn hole in back seat and carpet is good. No cracks in interior plastic or windshield. On Feb-12-11 at 07:13:20 PST, seller added the following information:
