Vehicle Detail
I am selling my 82 Mustang 5.0 H.O. that is in great condition. Their is minimal rust if any on the undercarriage and the body has been well taken care of. The engine has been rebuilt in the past and was given a cam and gear drive (with noise) update. The car's restoration (more of an upgrade resto) has over $15k in receipts to go with it. All motorcraft parts have been used on the engine to keep it as original as possible while giving it a beefy look. The car has been completely re-wired by a professional with receipts over $2500 for just that job. The stereo system is of premium quality and was professionally installed as well. Paint was done in 2001 but the car was garaged and off the road from then until early 2010. I have used this car as a daily driver for a year now and it truly embodies the classic Ford Mustang tradition of "hang on and drive". All of the engine parts that are blue have been powder coated, not your backyard spray paint job to include bolt heads. PLEASE NOTE: I removed the Fluidyne Radiator and replaced it with an OEM aftermarket due to leakage. I have an entire rubber maid container full of extra parts to keep her lookin and runnin top. The car came with a cosmetic blower that has blue anodized breather plates to give it a "one of a kind" look for car shows or even street legal use(according to the California Highway Patrol). The tires have PLENTY of tread and are one of a kind...as in no longer made. They are BFGoodrich Blue Streak Smokers that were made from 2003-2004, truly a one of a kind add on. Suspension is lowered (of course) so don't expect it to ride like a Cadillac. However, I recently had Monroe Sensa-Trac Shocks and Struts installed as well as polyurethane end links and sway bar bushings. The two issues I personally did not have time to get fixed is the passenger side was lightly keyed but can be buffed out (see photos) the passenger side has a slight intermittent squeak in the control arm bushing. I have already bought the parts, just no time to have them installed. I have a current Carfax that I have included screen shots of. The car passed smog in May of 2010 and is registered in California until September of this year. Buyer is responsible for shipping. I have the title in hand and upon receiving payment in full, the title and a bill of sale will be mailed overnight with insurance to the purchaser. Thanks for looking and Happy Ebaying! On Feb-11-11 at 14:14:03 PST, seller added the following information: ***Please note that the paint is about 10 years old and even with garaging from 2001-2010, has minor small blemishes here and there. I would rate it as an overall 6 out of 10 (being meticulous). ***
