2004 VW PASSAT GLS TDI My wife and I are the second owners of this vehicle, and it has primarily been used for her 25 mile commute to work. It runs and drives excellent and is very fuel efficient. We averaged 36 MPG in combined city/highway driving and best was 41MPG on a longer road trip. It's never been in an accident, has always been well maintained, and has never been smoked in. It's worst body flaw is a parking lot door ding which I've pointed out in one of the pictures. The front seats are heated and interior is real leather with no rips or tears. This car is a great combination of luxury, performance, and fuel efficiency. The timing belt/water pump kit was replaced at 100K, as well as transmission oil/filter with genuine VW transmission fluid. Always used VW reccomended 505.01 oil with Mann filters. I have two Mann oil filters which will be included with vehicle. Rear brakes replaced about a year ago. Everything in this car works as it should. Transmission drives and shifts smoothly and flawlessly, AC blows cold, heater, rear window defroster work as they should. Monsoon audio system has great sound. Front and side airbags for safety.
