If you are looking for a solid, mechanically sound Cutlass Supreme to build, Look No Further. 1978 was the first year for the smaller Cutlasses that have become very desired in recent years. This 1978 Cutlass Supreme has no rust in any of the pans, rockers, quarters,low fenders etc. In fact it is almost rust free. Car has never been repainted or reupholstered. It features it's original running gear, a 260 V-8 backed by an automatic transmission. Power Disc brakes, Sport mirrors,Tilt steering column without cruise, manual windows, manual seats, bucket seats, console and factory rally wheels. Car is Silver on Red with a Red pinstripe. This is an everyday driver with new tires and new brakes, the a/c works, the heat takes a little while but works. Tilt wheel has no play. Here are the flaws with the car, needs new vinyl top, no rust under the current one. Driver side fender has a dent in it, can be fixed, but easier to replace. Needs Paint, Has a 442 header panel that needs aligned. Needs new wiper switch, needs interior door handle for the driver side, needs a new shift handle, headliner needs reglued, plastic backs for the seats have dry rotted, a couple of pieces of trim have turned purple and done the same thing. Missing 2 pieces of rear window trim, passenger side has some rust holes where the trim was, typical for these cars (See Pics) This is a really tight nice driving Cutlass that i drive daily, will post a video of the car on the road. I would not be scared to drive it anywhere. If you are planning on driving it across country you will want fluids changed first. It also has a new alternator, a new radiator, a new water pump, belts and hoses. This car comes with a bill of sale and a current registration in my name, which is all you will need to obtain a title in your state, Georgia is a non title State on pre 1985.
