Up for sale is a 1956 buick special. This is a 40 series 2 door post model. I have a clean title and/or paperwork. What I can say is that his car is 80-90 % ready to go. I have dropped in a new rebuilt 322 nailhead with the dynaflow transmission that is in great condition. All gears shift smoothly and no leaks anywhere. I have not connected it to the torque ball as of yet, but will anticipate doing so by the time the car is sold. I have put a new OEM 4 barrel manifold, with a freshly rebuilt 4 barrel Rochester carb. The engine is great, and all the fluids have been drained. I have upgraded the spark plug wires to a Hi performance 8.5mm cable. Didn't get around to the electronic conversion. The interior front and back seats have been re-upholstered, as well as the dash. It needs a new headliner and door panels to make it complete. the brakes have been rebuilt from the inside out. Master cylinder needs work, but a rebuild kit should handle that. All the driver and passenger glass has been replaced. You will need to replace the front and back glass. I have a lot of parts as well. the body is straight with no major defects. Dings and little dents about the size of a nickle. There is small surface rust and absolutely no bondo on this car. The driver side toe board needs to be replaced due to rust. I have invested plenty of money on this car as you buick rodders know, but it just needs the little things to make this puppy purr.
