Fuel capacity: 12 liters (3.2 gal.) Weight: 183 kg (403.4 lb) After market windshield installed on bike She was a starter bike purchased as a first bike for my 15 yoa daughter. She ran great until very recently. Short list of repairs done 4 years ago: Radiator cored Radiator fan rebuilt, brushes & springs replaced Water pump replaced Thermostat replaced Hoses replaced All gaskets & “O” Rings replaced Engine flushed Fuel tank flushed Fuel valve rebuilt (was leaking) California emissions removed (I live in Texas emissions for this year of bike are not required). Brakes rebuilt, all pads & shoes replaced Handle bars replaced w/after market (a little short) Tires in good shape (replaced last year about 1000 miles on them)Has saddle bags The bad: Trip odometer will not reset Needs paint job (has rattle can black paint) No cover for seat backrest storage compartment (very hard to find) Horns work but my daughter says “they sound like a sick duck”. Two spots on seat from previous owner’s cigarette habit. Needs new battery (engine is free when bumped) Won’t start, had been parked for 3 months w/fuel valve on - needs carbs rebuilt Grips need replaced (Left one damaged in bike drop NOT WRECK) Left front blinker head needs replaced (damaged in same drop) Left side cover over battery gone (Stolen from bike) Comes with box of spare parts & Clymer manual. Daughter rode with old man on Goldwing GL1800. Bike kept up easily. It has 44939 miles. We added over 20K since purchased. She is a very good starter bike. Light & nimble she can be thrown around easily. She handles the summer Texas heat either on the highways or in stop & go traffic. It has a 6 speed transmission, shaft drive and its water cooled. The only draw back is that the fuel tank is small. Averages 40 to 45 MPG. Refills are required every 110 miles. The .4 reserve is good for about 15 miles. Daughter has stepped up to a second project bike. She just seeks a good home for her first bike.She was a GREAT Father & Daughter rebuild project.Bike sold as is, no warranty. It has a clear title. You pick it up or arrange for the shipping yourself. I will not deliver. I will hold the bike for 10 days after purchased. She cannot be driven away. Texas inspection & registration are expired.
