Vehicle Detail

Hi everybody- thanks for all the interest, questions and bids when we ran this auction 2 weeks ago... as you can guess, the winner was a dead-beat with zero feedback (that we even spoke with!) who made a million promises, and then flaked on paying. This is the THIRD vehicle in a row that it's happened to us on good ol' Ebay, so unfortunately we will NOT accept bids from anyone with zero feedback. Period. So, enough unpleasantness... on with the auction! Up for auction is this unique find... a barn fresh 1966 Lincoln Continental convertible with NO RESERVE! As the pictures show, it is complete (we even have both drivers side armrests). Although sitting for years, after jumping the solenoid & using a remote 1 gallon gas can- the motor fired and ran! During the first auction, a bidder asked if we could check the transmission, so... we fired the motor, and confirmed that it shifted into forward & reverse with ease. The front bumper/grill is straight and intact, the hood is straight, the front fenders are in decent shape, with the wheel wells showing very little rust... rocker panels are rusty (passenger in the front/drivers in the rear), all doors are in nice shape, floorpan is completely shot (drivers rear is the worst), drivers quarter panel seemed to look good, passenger quarter has 2 cheap patch panels near the bottom, trunk is in much better shape than the floorpan, the trunklid is in nice shape, and the rear bumper and lights are straight and intact. I couldn't get under the car to photograph from the bottom, so feel free to come see the car or have it inspected for more details. The convertible top assembly, pumps/hoses/etc. all seem to be there (there's miles of it!)... seats are all in usable/recoverable condition, and the dash is original and unmolested. We've seen lots of serial numbers/part numbers all over the Lincoln, but at this point- I'm not sure where the vin number(s) is located on a '66 Continental. If you know where to look, I'm happy to check it out and post it to the auction. The car will be sold with a bill of sale only... the winner can use vintage title services (such as Broadway title) or get a bonded title in their state. Whether you're looking for a restoration project, or an excellent donor car... this is a no reserve auction- so bid to win! Feel free to email or call with any questions @ 636 220-6080... thanks for looking and good luck!
