Vehicle Detail
This is my 67 Honda S800 coupe. Good old car. It has been in Ca. for years. I bought it about 3 years ago out of Southern Ca. Orig. color was white. I can't find any rust with the exception of a few small holes in the rear tailpipe resonators. I took the entire exhaust off and media blasted it, including the factory header. Installed new copper exhaust washers thanks to Norman Hart for telling me where to get them. The paint is old but you can see from the pant there is not rust or it would have surfaced by now. It is currently licensed and running in Ca. I have driven it maybe 15 miles in the last three years. It has it's orig. body, engine and frame per the tags and stampings. This is a later 67 with a driveshaft instead of a chain. I have been meaning to restore the car but I have not gotten around to it in 3 years so I am probably never going to get it done. Some small stuff missing like outer bumper brackets, mirrors but this is a very good car to restore. Or just maintain and drive it and have fun. I am including a video of it coming down my driveway. Paint looks better than it really is but it appears to be a very straight car with no sign of accidents. Also has what I think are correct bolts etc underneath. I would consider a trade up toward a fully restored S800 coupe or if someone god at restoring these wants to give me a quote to restore this one. Car can be seen in Northern Ca. I have a few spare parts that will go with the car. I also don't have the key to the rear hatch.
