Up for auction is what I consider to be one of the nicest Pro Touring Mid-Year Corvettes in the Country. This car is new! It is a no hit, low mile, awesome car. It is what any man would be very proud to own. It has the classic Corvette original look, but also has the late model goodies that will leave a stock one sitting in it's tracks. This car has a new GM alum. headed 502-502hp engine, a Richmond 5-speed transmission, 4-wheel disc brakes, power steering, custom sound system, etc.etc. It is the way that you build a modern mid-year Corvette that you want to drive across Country. This car sat in a basement for over 30 years. It was bought, brought out, took apart piece by piece, and restored to the Beauty that it is today. Every receipt of the full restoration is here. (see pictures) This is one car that the pictures don't come close to doing the car justice. This car is new. Everything was either replaced or re-done. Paint, glass, wiring, interior, rear end, brakes, lines, (fuel and brake), lights and light motors, grill, bumpers, clock, gauges, power antenna, lens, bezels, knobs, cables, top, handles, rubbers, felts, engine, clutch, transmission, rear end, half shafts, u-joints, bushings, etc.etc.. you get the point. They were all re-done or replaced. The engine, (GM 502-502hp) was taken apart, completely re-balanced, and had a larger lift cam installed. Horsepower is now believed to be around 535hp. The transmission is by Richmond, and is a HD 5-Speed. The rear end is a Big Block rear with 3.36 Richmond gears, and is Heavy Duty also. A VBP rear leaf spring was also added for more support. All new sway bars and bushings were installed alone with big 4-wheel disc brakes. All of this added together makes this 1965 Corvette Ride and drive like a 2011 ZR-1. The torque of this car is unbelievable. It pulls so hard through the gears, that it feels like there is no end to it's top end speed. You will let out before it quits pulling. I'm not sure what top speed is with this car. Starting from a dead stop is wasting your time. It just blows the tires clean off! However, from a roll is a different story. It will get the job done. I own a new Z06, and have owned a new ZR-1, and this car still impresses the heck out of me. Look at the pictures close, every bolt, nut, latch, screw, etc.etc. is new. There are over $158K in total reciepts spent on this car! WOW! There are no weak points at all in this car. Hit the headlight motors, and they open smooth, hit the power antenna switch, and it goes up and down, the tach, clock, radio, CD changer, speedometer, wipers, heater, and all gauges work like new. Notice under the hood. Even the Hooker Ceramic Coated Super Comp. Headers have locking header bolts and correct ground straps. The MSD 6AL iginition box is hidden neatly in the iner fender. The Be-Cool radiator has the electric fans wired to an automatic thermostat, so as to come on when needed. The interior is completly new, and the radio is by custom sound system and also has a remote CD changer. There are no weak points on this car, and no corners were cut at all when building this Beauty. This car is not cheap, however, I will let it go for around half of what it would take to build another one just like it. I might consider a trade on this car. Corvette Lovers, pay attention, sit down, call your buddies, and be nice to your wife's. Up for auction is what I consider to be one of the nicest Pro Touring Mid-Year Corvettes in the Country. This car is new! It is a no hit, low mile, awesome car. It is what any man would be very proud to own. It has the classic Corvette original look, but also has the late model goodies that will leave a stock one sitting in it's tracks. This car has a new GM alum. headed 502-502hp engine, a Richmond 5-speed transmission, 4-wheel disc brakes, power steering, custom sound system, etc.etc. It is the way that you build a modern mid-year Corvette that you want to drive across Country. This car sat in a basement for over 30 years. It was bought, brought out, took apart piece by piece, and restored to the Beauty that it is today. Every receipt of the full restoration is here. (see pictures) This is one car that the pictures don't come close to doing the car justice. This car is new. Everything was either replaced or re-done. Paint, glass, wiring, interior, rear end, brakes, lines, (fuel and brake), lights and light motors, grill, bumpers, clock, gauges, power antenna, lens, bezels, knobs, cables, top, handles, rubbers, felts, engine, clutch, transmission, rear end, half shafts, u-joints, bushings, etc.etc.. you get the point. They were all re-done or replaced. The engine, (GM 502-502hp) was taken apart, completely re-balanced, and had a larger lift cam installed. Horsepower is now believed to be around 535hp. The transmission is by Richmond, and is a HD 5-Speed. The rear end is a Big Block rear with 3.36 Richmond gears, and is Heavy Duty also. A VBP rear leaf spring was also added for more support. All new sway bars and bushings were installed alone with big 4-wheel disc brakes. All of this added together makes this 1965 Corvette Ride and drive like a 2011 ZR-1. The torque of this car is unbelievable. It pulls so hard through the gears, that it feels like there is no end to it's top end speed. You will let out before it quits pulling. I'm not sure what top speed is with this car. Starting from a dead stop is wasting your time. It just blows the tires clean off! However, from a roll is a different story. It will get the job done. I own a new Z06, and have owned a new ZR-1, and this car still impresses the heck out of me. Look at the pictures close, every bolt, nut, latch, screw, etc.etc. is new. There are over $158K in total reciepts spent on this car! WOW! There are no weak points at all in this car. Hit the headlight motors, and they open smooth, hit the power antenna switch, and it goes up and down, the tach, clock, radio, CD changer, speedometer, wipers, heater, and all gauges work like new. Notice under the hood. Even the Hooker Ceramic Coated Super Comp. Headers have locking header bolts and correct ground straps. The MSD 6AL iginition box is hidden neatly in the iner fender. The Be-Cool radiator has the electric fans wired to an automatic thermostat, so as to come on when needed. The interior is completly new, and the radio is by custom sound system and also has a remote CD changer. There are no weak points on this car, and no corners were cut at all when building this Beauty. This car is not cheap, however, I will let it go for around half of what it would take to build another one just like it. I might consider a trade on this car.
