1977 Stingray; This car has never been wrecked and has had extensive upgrades over the past six years to improve its overall performance and handling. This car has been built with winding country roads in mind. The car is in superb mechanical condition and I would not hesitate driving this car across the US. This car is not for the faint hearted with its breathtaking performance. I know I have probably forgotten some of the upgrades but here are the main ones: Race motor Ported and Balanced 202 heads origional block pushing ˜400HP on pump gas ( Have origional Invoice for just under $6000) Ceramic Headers with 3" stanless steel flowmaster exhaust Sounds great as well as Improving performance cost $1200 Steeroids Power Rack and pinion from http://www.steeroids.com turns smooth cost was just over $2000 Composite rear leaf spring rated at 330lbs this combined with the new shocks and the steeroids makes ther car extremely responsive Cost $1200 All brakes replaced including calipers and master cylinder cost $1400 Transmission rebuild Cost $800 New drive shafts and U Joints Cost $400 uprated rear end with 3:55 Gears. $1100 So Over $14000 in upgrades plus purchase price of $6000 for the car means I am into this car for $22,000. Since I have owned the car I have put less than 10,000 Miles on the car and It has been a real blast to drive and gets lots of attention. With this in mind there is still room for improvement. The interior needs sprucing up which would be my next move. Gauges all work but the rev counter stuck at 1000 rpm and has not moved in two years. All lights, horn, etc work and will pass safety with no problems. If you have any questions please Just ask.
