Time to sell my '55...My loss is your gain. A solid old hot rod. Has the original stovebolt 235 and 3 speed changed to floor shift. Solid body and frame, only non-stock is 2 front fiberglass fenders. Blankets over the seats. New and upgraded parts are as follows: Offy valve cover, Wayne side plate, Offy 2X intake with 2 Carter YF carbs, Fenton headers & custom split exhaust with Glass Packs, Radiator, Battery, Starter, Headliner, Visor skins, trunk heavy rubber mat, Vintage Stewart Warner guages. Other notables within 3 years: Real Firestone Silvertowns, Cross hubcaps, and shocks. This car is a driver, not a show queen. Solid dependable 55 Chevy. Also comes with original intake manifold, carb, exhaust manifold, valve cover, side plate and air cleaner. Drivers side window and passenger rear window have cracks. Other questions, please ask. Speedo needs a speedo gear which I just found and bought off of ebay, comes with it. Stock temp sending unit does not seal, so the SW gauge is hooded up and working well...as is the SW oil pressure and Volts. Lights work, wipers need vaccuum hook up and rebuild. No heater or radio.
