1998 Audi A4 Avant (Wagon): Rare 5-speed manual with powerful 30 valve V-6 engine. 2nd owner car with clean car-fax. -Engine runs smooth and transmission shifts great Car has had the following repairs within the last 5,000 miles: -Oil change - New Clutch kit installed -In addition, timing belt was changed at 95,000 and is good for another 40,000 as per service interval. The following items work great: - power windows - glass moon-roof - A/C - heated seats - cruise control - wipers/front and back -All wheel drive - Good-year tires are balanced and aligned - NJ Inspection through 11/2012 Mechanically the following items need attention: - Check engine light on - ABS light on - Noisy rear wheel bearing- loud, and should be addressed asap - power-steering fluid leak. -Clogged drains along passenger side of car causes water to pool during heavy rainfall. (common problem) - No key-less entry. Original keys broken, but electric locks work - automatic latch switch does not work- must use key (may be fuse in this case) Cosmetics: Paint shines Missing trim pieces as per pictures Scratches and minor dents- nothing major, but visible on this metallic paint Front leather seats in great condition minor blemishes on rear seats- no rips or tears passenger side mirror cracked. All and all a solid car that is one of the best options considering this winter! Small issues were overlooked over past year as this was a second car for my parents. With dad retiring car is up for sale While car needs some TLC it has never left us stranded since purchased in 2005 and is truly a rare find with the 5-speed.
