1966’ Pontiac GTO RETRO-MOD Clone (Tempest Custom) Full body off restoration Solid metal restoration with absolutely no rust or rot. This was a Texas car with a clean title restored in Florida. New DuPont Base-Clear finish and buffed paint inside and out Rebuilt 97’ LT1 5.7L motor with T/56 6-speed transmission and with less than 7500 miles on it. 4 wheel cross drilled and slotted disc brakes with working e-brakes All new polyurethane bushing throughout body and suspension New suspension and lowered Eibach springs and Monroe Air shocks New 18 circuit Painless wire harness and all new fuel/brake lines Heavy duty sway bars front and rear and boxed in control arms Magna-FLO full stainless steel Exhaust with X-pipe from the Headers back. The trunk was going to get carpet to go over the Dynomat also. The windshield should be replaced due to welding slag burning it during the build. There are no cracks but has pitting. I have been driving with it for a year. I could of had it completed but just ran out of time. Going through a divorce and moving and the car unfortunately cannot come with me. This was a two year build and no compromises were made. This car runs and performs great! Plenty of power and it was built to be a reliable driver not a track car. This is an absolute attention getter and won trophies at several local car shows. This is a NON/AC car. The motor is set up for the compressor but currently has a by-pass pully on it but the compressor will be sold with the car. I was going to install a vintage auto air system in it but again ran out of time. (One of the reasons the interior is still incomplete) When I purchased this car it was a rolling shell. Everything, I mean everything including every Nut and bolt, all hardware, weather stripping, wires and brake lines have been bought brand new and installed. This is like a one year old car.
