Excellent fastback project. For starters this is a barn find. And a nice, Nice little find at that. Looks as though someone was doing a shelby gt350 clone, 289 4 barrel engine, 4 speed toploader. Engine Does run does not smoke no pings, just needs a good tuneup. It HAS been sitting a while, engine Oil, radiator fluid, brake fluid all need changed, brakes need freshening up. Body has some minor surface rust but NO rust HOLES. Nice good clean Original doors.original aprons with vin numbers and matching door tag. Engine has lots of performance goodies, Edlebrock intake, holley 4 barrel carb, aluminum finned valve covers, finned deep sump oil pan, dual remote oil fillters, msd high energy ignition, headers. Brakes are up and do work but are sluggish. The metal on this mustang is real nice. Front frame rails are very nice, shock towers also very nice. Interior wise has no back seat no trap door and only spotty interior fiberglass. Seats are in it and probably original to the mustang. Headliner bows are still in place. Consider this a super nice project. The original paint on this mustang is a fairly sought after color by the way. Its SILVER SMOKE GREY, Very nice color. This mustang fits the bill of someone wanting very light metal work, very light body work, very light engine work, very light interior work.
