I have a 1959 Ford F100 Pickup I picked up as a project for my wife and I but we've just never connected with the truck so we're looking for something else. Here is the truck info: 1959 Ford F100 Styleside P/U 292ci engine - during the summer I put a spare battery(not included) in it, jumped some wires and poured gas in the carb and it started and ran for a few minutes. Hasn't been started since. Trans - it has an unknown manual tranny in it. It goes into each gear ok though. Never engaged the tranny so condition is unknown. Interior - No seat. I have an extra instrument cluster/bezel and some fiberboard panels that go on the roof and behind the seat that can be upholstered or tossed. Body - There are some rust problem areas. The drivers side fender is dented in as is the grill on that side. The front bumper needs replaced. The headlight buckets are rusted through but I have an extra set. There is some old body filler on the truck, mainly on the pass. bed side. The bed floor has surface rust on corrugated center panel and rusted through on the flat steel corner edges (easy fix). The tailgate is in good shape although there is some body filler on it. The cab floor boards and steps are rusted through. I do have an extra cab (included in auction) that is in much better shape but has the big back window (with rear glass) that I intended to swap out with the current one. Underneath - Everything looks as you would expect it - old and rusty. I'm sure the brakes need complete rebuilds. There is a broken leaf spring in the front and one in the rear as well. I would replace all the bushings and cab mounts as well. I have several other extra bits and pieces in the garage that would go with the truck. More pics available upon request. In the engine picture, the just the air cleaner lid is sitting on the carb to keep out dust. I mention it because it just looks strange in the picture. The only thing we've done since these pics were taken is remove the headlights/buckets, interior, side mirrors, tailgate, rear bumper and unbolt the bed. We still have all the parts with the exception of the side mirrors and seat which were non factory and trashed. Please ask any questions before bidding. Local pick up only.
