1971 Oldsmobile Tornado Custom, I am selling this car for my Neighbor who is older and has never used Ebay. It is a very nice original loaded car with 59,800 Miles on it Original. The exterior of the car is finished in the original Color of Gold, it was repainted to the original color in 1998, a very nice re spray not a cheap $2000 job, there is no overspray on any items, the paint could pass for original but was re done. The car has all of its original sheet metal and has always been in California so there is no rust issues, the body is laser straight, the doors, hood, trunk and windows align perfect . It is complete with all of its trim and stainless that is in excellent condition, the bumpers are nice with only a small mark to the rear on the passenger side towards the bottom. The black top is like new with no marks, tears or rust popping out and the trim that holds the top is perfect as well. All four hubcaps are good and the car sits on new tires. The door jams are nice, the trunk is complete with its jack and spare and still retains all of its factory stickers for jacking instructions. The interior is also in fabulous condition, the seats and door panels are white and have no marks, rips, or soils to it the headliner is in the same condition. The dash is free from any cracks as well as the steering wheels and door panels. All gauges are bright and work perfect the car has always been stored inside so there is no sun fade to the items. The car has full power, windows (all operate smooth and fast) 6 way seat ( all working well) Tilt and telescoping steering wheel, power steering and brakes radio ( not working) factory Ac ( working). Interior is very well kept. The motor of the car is the 455 CU IN that has lots of power, it runs excellent I recently serviced it and replaced the exhaust gaskets so it is very quiet, it does not leak or smoke, the transmission shifts like new and when you put it in gear you feel that the car is a well cared low mile car, it is crisp. The car needs nothing it drives straight and smooth with no funny noises or rattles 80 MPH is a pleasure on the hwy, the suspension and brakes work excellent I see the car needing nothing.
