Up for sale is my Mustang 1966 that I have owned for seven years. This car is super fast and fun to drive. The engine was rebuilt 8 months ago with only 5000 miles on it so far. It is a 289 bored with a high lift mechanical Crower cam. J302 Aluminum heads, trickflow designed their heads around these. high rise Edelbrock Airgap intake 600cfm edelbrock carb pertronix mechanical racing distributer pertronix second strike box and rev limiter long tube headers 2.5" side exhaust Car is wired and plumbed for Nitrous. Only needs the switch on the throttle linkage to be fully working. Crower lists this engine to crank out 380hp without nitrous 5 speed world class tremec transmission Hurst shifter Hydraulic clutch King cobra clutch Aluminum drive shaft Aluminum 16X8 Torque Thrust wheels New Kumho Ecsta racing tires 225/50/16I have put 255/50/16 in the rear. Shelby lowered A-arm suspension mod KYB gas adjust shocks 650lb blue 1'' lowering coil springs Heavy duty 5 leaf reverse eye springs 1 3/4" front sway bar Rear 7/8" sway bar Subframe connectors welded on Shelby shock tower connectors Monte carlo engine bay bar Granada front disc brakes Read drums Fox body 5.0 master cylinder 8" rear end with 3:80 posi rear end Interior is extremely clean and mostly stock I have the original seats as well. The driver side needs reupholstering but the passenger seat is in good condition Right now I have a pair of Corbeau racing seats installed with retractable racing harnesses 5" Autogauge Tachometer Right now the car is my daily driver. I am looking for something with better gas mileage once I start commuting 2hrs a day.I am open to trades. The only reason I am selling the car is because I am saving money for school. It should read that the car was converted to a Manual transmission and 289 V8. On Jan-30-11 at 14:53:29 PST, seller added the following information: The car does not have flowmaster side exhaust installed anymore.I still have the exhaust system so if the buyer wants those pipes and mufflers they can bolt up to the headers in minutes. Last week I put a whole new $850 custom exhaust with dynomax mufflers out the rear valance. It sounds great, and I think it may have added a bit more torque.
