1986 Honda Rebel

I am selling this motorcycle for one reason. I want a more powerful bike. I purchased this bike in July of 2009. It is my first motorcycle and it was a dream to learn on. The 450cc engine is just large enough to give you the feel of a motorcycle, and small enough to not be overpowering. When I purchased it, it was not running. I took it to a shop and had them restore it to running order. I cruised around town with it for awhile and had no problems. Then I parked it in my garage for a few months. I took it out again and it wouldn't start with the starter. I replaced the battery with a more expensive one and had no problems. However, now I can not ride it. It starts up and idles fine, but when you give it gas it dies. I am unsure of what is causing this problem. It could simply be rust in the gas tank preventing the flow of fuel. Like I said not 100% sure. I am sure it can be fixed relatively cheap, or someone may know what's wrong and be able to fix it themselves. I would repair it myself if I was planning on keeping it, like I mentioned earlier it is a great bike, in good condition. There are a few scratches and chips in the paint but hardly noticeable. I also did some custom work on it. I added a switch on the light to turn it off. Before it was on all the time (that's how it was built). I also replaced the stock mirrors with a better one. And like above mentioned, it has a new battery. The wheels and tires are in great condition.
