1985 Chevy M1008 military truck. This is the 1 1/4 ton version. Its one tough truck! Pintle hitch, plus I have a new in the box class 5 hitch that will go with the truck. Body is in very good shape, with really only the drivers side rocker having rust. Also the inner front fenders have rust holes, due to rocks ect. Very solid. Paint is not the best, bottom half was coated in bed liner for protection off road. 53000 miles with only 8500 on new 383 stroker motor. See below for motor details. TH-400 trans. NP-208 transfer case. Dana 60 front axle with GM 14 bolt rear axle with full detroit locker. 4:56 gears. 33" Bridgestone Duelers, fronts need to be replaced, rears are decent. Truck runs and drive good, but keep in mind it is a big, old heavy truck. Its not a Cadillac. Truck had the 6.2L diesel motor, it swallowed an air cleaner stud and so I replaced it with the stroker. It has an electric fuel pump, new 2400 stall converter, new flex plate, new motor mounts. A few issues you need to know about. It has headers going into car chemisty baffles and then into flowmaster single chamber mufflers and turndowns, it is loud. Not horrible, but loud. I live in town and have not had any issues with neighbors or police though. It leaks oil, not a ton but it does leak from the rocker covers. New gaskets would fix this I'm sure, I just never did it. The interior as you can see from the pictures is in rough shape, needs a seat cover and if your worried about it a new dash cover. MOTOR Seasoned and completely machined 4 bolt full roller block. Complete balanced Eagle bottom end, all brand new. Comp cams full roller cam (4X4 grind), and hydraulic roller lifers. Roller rockers New Patriot performance aluminum heads, 195cc intake runners Moroso oil pain All new Clevite bearings, new gaskets, seals ect. ARP head bolts Edelbrock air gap intake with 800 cfm edelbrock carb New aluminum water pump Polished alternator I have over $4000 into the motor, not including the $1500 I spent on other parts for the swap.
