1993 Mazda Miata Black. California Car. This is a nice little Miata that still looks great but has a few problems, please read the full description before making a bid, just so you know what you getting. Nice little cruiser with classic Black/Tan color combo. Runs and drives, but engine has some issues- see below. EXTERIOR:Paint is still shiny body is still nice to look at. Vinyl Tan top has no rips, except for the window area, read below. Top opens and closes fine. Tires are good as are the original Alloy Miata Rims.Engine area was pressure washed and is nice and clean. INTERIOR: complete, with no cracks to the dash or console. Carpet is intact. Leather seats, driver seat has rips (see pic),pas. seat is better, but both are stiff/leather. I would have them both re-done in color matching vinyl.All lights, interior and exterior work. Headlights flip up and down with no problem. AC works fine and blows cold.Stereo works, but only the headrest speakers in pas. side work. Equipped with Airbag. FLAWS: Engine compression is low in one or two cylinders according to my mechanic, so some work will need to be done. Car does run and goes, but takes a little time for quicker/higher speeds as you would expect. It's great for around town, but I don't know about long distance traveling. Does not blowing any smoke or overheating. I did notget an estimate for the repairs. Could be a great student car as is.Has a dent on the rear quarter panel behind pas. door, (see pic), rear bumper on driver's side had paint flaked off that was repainted, Top of dash (above gauges) has some chips, leather steering wheel cover is worn and ripped in places, top of driver's door panel has a crack, driver's window is not working as of now, don't know why, I'll try to investigate further. Pas. window works fine. Body has some dings and minor scratches/paint chips. Antenna does not go up or down all the way, Spare tire and boot cover are missing. Back plastic window is foggy and was repaired with some rivets and staples. I have a clean title in hand. Registration is current. I go through the car and do a check list of what is working or not, and any defects. I also drive the car for a few days to see how she "feels". Car was bought at a Benefit sale and title is in the name of the donor , But it's signed by them, and I have the bill of sales that go with it.
