My SHELBY was purchased brand new the Summer of 2007 at Hillyer's Mid City Ford in Woodburn Oregon. I have absolutely every piece of documentation and literature since day-one. The original purchase order, window sticker, books, manuals and all Shelby doc's are in my file. Every sticker, hang-card and Carroll Shelby certificate of authenticity are also included. I even have the red tag that hung from the hood pins explaining proper use. The purchase order outlines all details and upgrades. The SHELBY package was just under $10,000 and the optional wheels and tires were $3000. Heated leather seats, SIRIUS satellite radio and the Shaker 1000 watt sound system were also factory options. The car was ordered spoiler delete. Total cost was $45,022. Parked in climate controlled garage since new and she has never been driven in the rain. The 20 inch chrome Shelby wheels and tires are an optional upgrade and have been on the car since she left the dealership. Rubber floor mats have protected the originals. Driven gently and sparingly. No abuse. Never damaged or smoked in. No pets! No food or Starbucks Coffee allowed. The car still smells brand new. Collector quality with all paperwork and pedigree's. I will make brief comments under a few of the upcoming photos. All of my eBay experiences have been enjoyable over the years as I've rotated through and sold members from my collection. I am grateful for the kind remarks I've received. There are over 80 pictures to view and they represent the car clearly and honestly. No chips, no scratches, no dings, etc. There is certainly nothing to hide. I welcome showing in-person to anyone with genuine interest. I took every picture 2 days before this auction started. No photo has been enhanced or altered in any way. This is my car and every picture is true to her in-person appearance. Thanks for your time, DAVE There are very minor scuffs on the underside of the front bumper that are not visible unless you look underneath. These cars have a low stance. COLT-45 was taken by a 1967 Mustang Convertible. A friend of mine is the person that purchased this car new. He passed away unexpectedly last year. He was 63 years old. I bought the car from his widow. Even as I type this description, I'm on the fence about selling. It's an incredible machine and a joy to drive and even though it stands proudly in my collection it's the odd-man-out parked with my 1960's and 1970's cars. The only flaw to note: The tire is still safe and in perfect balance. There are nicks on the outer wheel edge as well. I, of course, did not do this. When the family brought me the car they got a little too close to curb while entering my driveway. What could I say? It is minor and the wheel edge is repairable. I will try to have that done before she leaves. Rubber mats have always covered the originals. HURST shifter and linkage. 2721 miles since new. The speaker box is part of the factory Shaker sound system option. SHELBY equipment. No after purchase modifications. The undercarriage is flawless. The front license plate has never been mounted. The original bracket and screws are included. Total purchase price was $45,022.00 Carroll Shelby's signature is on the window sticker. Not a stamped signature. His pen and ink. The one owner 2001 Bullitt Edition Mustang with 5000 original miles was the trade-in on my 2007 Shelby. Make sure if you are financing that your financial institution accepts the year and value of this vehicle before bidding. Please have your method of payment arranged prior to auction ending. TRANSPORT - SHIPPING I am happy to be an active and hands-on part of this process from start to finish but the buyer is ultimately responsible for pickup or shipping of this vehicle and any pre-purchase inspections need to be done BEFORE auction ending. If you wish to have it shipped using a service, I will gladly assist in loading and be present for the transport condition form or other reasonable help. Locating a transporter is the buyers responsibility but I can make recommendations and share the relationships I've built. Vehicle transport has become very reasonable. I personally use a privately owned trucking company. Dennis is a great guy and his direct number is 503-343-4884. He is based here in Oregon and has handled my transport needs perfectly for the last 4 years with careful handling, excellent rates and fast service even all the way to the East Coast. Dependable Auto Shippers (D.A.S.) is a transporter that eBay recommends and my experiences with them were just fine. My location zip code is 97214. Coast-to-Coast transport is around $1500.00 and even less the closer you are to Oregon. Shipping to Australia, Europe and other Countries has also become affordable and easy to arrange.
