READ CAREFULLY up for sale a 1971 honda cb 750 K1 frame #CB7501036429 engine #CB7501088887 This is a non restored non running K1 The good............. original jeweled gauges in excellent shape,no dents in tank/no rust inside tank,looks to have sandcast hand controls and front caliper,original seat (ratty),good chrome on rims,original airbox,motor is free with good compression,and a clear title.........the bad.......... front fender missing,side covers missing,original exhaust missing, and looks to have 2"-4" extended front forks...............the neat stuff.....has a bowman racing industries calibration unit on the carbs..this allowed you to self sync carbs for different applications,has an aftermarket cigarette lighter and top mount ignition,oil pressure gauge,and the jeweled gauges are in fantastic shape with no discoloration in lens or gauge faces even the little orange tips are clear and legible.Extra parts include a set of jardine 4 into 2 turn out pipes with exhaust flanges in excellent shape,original polisheds fork tubes complete with lower legs and gaiters(boots), and 1 side cover (oil bag side), the painted fork ears are in good shape and original.this bike ran strong 3 years ago and was a daily driver.I drained all gas b4 storing and carbs are free as well as clutch,has great spark and compression.This is an easy restore and these are the best of the 750's ever made.Was saving this one for myself but economics force sale.The gauges are some of the nicest originals I have seen with 21k miles and have seen similar sets sell for over 600.00 alone.You sandcast purists know what I mean.I have a 950.00 start price on this.If it doesn,t sell will part out gauges and keep the rest!
