1956 Buick Special V8 Auto All Power Options! Lots of Extra Parts My late husband bought and drove this car in about 1993-94. He didn't know at the time he bought it, but someone had installed an electric fuel pump under the frame. During a trip the electric fuel pump went out, which is how he discovered this fact. He purchased a factory mechanical original type fuel pump and accumulated a lot of extra parts for it. He never got the fuel pump changed and even paid someone to do this for him at one point that took his money and didn't do any work. The car was stored inside until about 5 years ago when we lost storage and had to begin storing it outside. The paint used to be so nice, but weather has not been kind and you can see the results in the photos. The glass is tinted and is all in excellent condition. The interior is a blue-green color and is also in good condition. No tears or rips in seats, door panels, or headliner. No dry rot except in some of the carpet. The heater control is hanging down. There is something spilled on the dash. The air cleaner is in the trunk. The expensive and hard to find glass windshield washer bottle is all in tact and in the trunk. The glovebox liner is also intact and in the trunk. The original radio is in the trunk. The original clock is in the trunk. Included with this car are the following extra parts. -3 extra tail light lenses (ones on car are good) -1 complete extra set of hub caps (full set on car are good) -1 new water pump -Several extra oil filters -Several extra brake shoes -1 new fuel pump -extra belts -extra starters The spare and a tool box are also in the trunk. The trunk mat is in good condition and the trunk is solid. There is some rust under the driver's side carpet, but the rest of the floor seems to be solid. The car is generally very solid. I realize that I could spend some time and money to get this car running again and even sand and prime it and sell it for condiserable more money. But I'm trying to finish up the last few details of my late husband's estate and I've decided to let it go as-is now. All tires are matched wide white walls and in good condition. They have always held air with no slow leaks or problems.
