This is a 2001 Toyota Tacoma Prerunner Double Cab. 2.7L, 4 Cylinder, 2WD - SALVAGE TITLE. Last month the truck had a minor front end collision with a Honda Accord that had spun out in front of me, I was not held at fault and I was surprised that it received a salvage title from the insurance agency. The insurance agent told me they gave it a salvage title because both the driver and passenger air bags deployed. The truck definitely runs. I am not an expert but from what I can see there is damage to the bumper and grill and the hood is dented, the radiator and fan should also be replaced. The windshield has some hairline cracks in it but did not break and is holding up fine. The engine starts right up, the breaks work great, head lights and turn signal lights all work. All the dash lights, radio, CD Player, electronics, etc work inside. Sitting inside you'd never know it was in an accident. The vyper alarm and door locks work fine too. I am selling the truck as is. I would put in the work to fix this truck but I have another vehicle and so don't need it. I'd rather give someone else the opportunity to do the quick fixes it needs and get a great truck for an awesome deal. Depending on your state, a salvage title may be removed or replaced with a Rebuilt Salvage designation This truck is from Irvine California, it has California plates and has never been driven in winter so there is no rust on the body. Before the accident my truck had been totally babied by me. I paid $700 last year for new Bilstein shocks, it has a brand new Vyper alarm system that cost $300, ALL INCLUDED!.. Also comes with a Snug Top Brand Tonneau cover. 2.7L 4 Cylinder engine, plenty of power and GREAT on gas!! 207,636 Miles.
