Vehicle Detail
Today I am putting up for auction this very rare 1969 Cadillac Series 75 Limousine. This is a very rare car with only 1,156 Fleetwood limousines produced in 1969. This car has the 472 cadillac engine in it that produces 375 horsepower. This was a two owner car when I bought it. It was orginally owned by a funeral home in Webster City Iowa before it was sold to the owner I purchased the car from in 1988. This car has 68,084 original miles. It has not seen the road very much lately and I would recommend trailering the car untill you can have the car inspected. I have driven the car and it drove very nicely, but I would not plan on any long trips in this car untill it has been checked over. This car has been driven very little in the last several years. The interior of the car is in excellent condition. I did not see any rips, tears, or fading on it. The dash does not even have a crack in it. It also has the jump seats in the back in excellent condition. This will save you thousande of dollars in restoration costs. The exterior of the car needs some love. The paint is peeling in many places. It has rust at the bottom of the front fenders, a little at the bottom of the quarters, and a couple spots on the doors. This is all pictures. This car aslo has some damage from a tree branch falling on it on the hood, driver fender, and rear driver side door handle. I have pictures of this as well. This is a super rare car and would be a fantastic car to restore. If you are into car shows, it is highly unlikely you will see another one of these at any show you would take it. This car is located in Bartlett Iowa and will need to be picked up there. I expect the deposit withing 48 hours of the auction end, and full payment within 7 days. If full payment is not made I will relist the car and your deposit will be lost. If you can not pay within 7 days do not bid on this car. Pickup should be within 14 days unless other arrangements have been made prior to the end of the auction. Please ask any and all questions before bidding. Thanks again for looking and bid to win.On Jan-25-11 at 16:53:24 PST, seller added the following information:I just wanted to add after I recieved an email from an ebay member that this car is a 1969 Fleetwood 75 series sedan. It is a stretched sedan and it does have the jump seats. Everything I have read referrs to the 75 series sedan as a limo as well. This is actually an even lower production number car with only 880 produced in 1969. The 1969 75 series limo has a divider, vinyl front seat, no front arm rest. Because of these differences I wanted to clarify that this is the 75 series sedan. I just don't want this to be confused with the regular 69 sedan because this is a stretched chassis just like the 75 series limousine. I work on a lot of 60's cadillacs, but this is the only "limo" I have had. I appreciated this being pointed out and do not want to have anyone confused.
