Up for sale is a 1988 K5 Silverado Blazer It has 100750 miles on it and will have more as i drive it daily. I originally bought to restore and partway got into it. Asking $5,500 obo Selling because I don't have the $$ to get it painted so there's no sense keeping it around. This Blazer has a power rear window and has cold AC. Manual locks/door windows. It has a 5.7L with a th700r4 tranny. The engine's upperend was just rebuilt at 97k to try to improve fuel eco. I have replaced (with new parts): Head gaskets Heads Valves, springs w/ keepers Valve cover valve cover gaskets Intake cleaned in a pressure cleaner Holley 506-2 Throttlebody w/gaskets Air Cleaner & Air Cleaner filter Distributor w/ Distribution block Plug wires Bosch Platinum2 Sparkplugs Fuel filter Headman Headers Hooker competition Exhaust system w/ Hooker mufflers Have Pennzoil Synthetic 5w-30 since the engine was cleaned Delco Water pump Thermostat coolant temp sensor Bosch O2 sensor I have also removed the SMOG w/ air pump from the truck for better fuel eco and hp boost The interior is in great shape with no tears or stains anywhere that I could see and only thing I would say is the carpet is a little worn which should be expected of a 23yr old vehicle The body is in great shape with no dents anywhere and a small silver dollar size bubble rust spot on drivers fender in front of tire below marker light. The underside is mostly black with some surface corrosion on some of the running gear which is typical on mostly any vehicle. The only known problems I can think of are the previous said rust spot, on very cold nights the speedometer occasionally goes nuts but resets once you come to a complete stop, and the rear window is off the track but still rolls down and up. It also runs rich. All very minor issues. I am currently looking around to find someone to tune the throttlebody so it doesnt run rich but not sure myself since I'm coming up with nothing. The 4WD does work and I have been using it during the heavy snows and it works great, no issues. I also have 4 Black new rims that are like OEM and also have bought HD hubs lug nuts, throttlebody spacer that increase fuel eco as well as HP and torque and Brake boosters for the rear drums that will come with the truck as well. Stock tire size is 31x10.5 r15 I have tried my best to describe the vehicle as I can and open to questions should you have them.
