Suzuki GSX650F Black & Silver 2008 Model Year Only 3300 MilesKelly Blue Book Value $4685, reserve set significantly below this, plus this bike has great upgrades! I am the original owner and purchased the bike brand new from the local Suzuki dealer in June 2009. I have cared for the bike very well and as a qualified mechanic I’ve done all the maintenance myself, I conducted the break in oil/filter change dead on time at 600 miles after running the engine in correctly and not exceeding 6000 RPM. I then changed to Mobil1 fully synthetic engine oil at the second oil change at 2500 miles. The bike has just turned over 3200 miles so I just did another Mobil1 oil/filter change in December ready for the new owner. Other maintenance I’ve completed as required is regular chain cleaning/lubrication & adjustment, two complete brake fluid changes, plus keeping all fluids topped up where necessary. The bike is always cleaned after each ride to avoid any paint stains or corrosion etc. It’s never been dropped or down for any reason, you’ll see from the pictures the bike is in showroom condition. It’s always been garaged with the main use consisting of pleasure trips which have mostly consisted of sunny dry weekend day trips. I have toured on it once up to NC where it excelled at being a great sport tourer which carried me there in comfort with luggage and all. It then proved great as a sports bike when it came to the twisties. I’ve also added some nice upgrades which I’ll list below: Genuine Suzuki Center Stand $150 Scorpion Carbon Fiber Exhaust $400 (inc lifetime warranty & accident damage cover) MRA Vario Tinted Touring Windshield $160 (adjustable) Upgraded to 15 Weight Front Fork Oil PROGRIP Tank Protector EBC Double-H Front Brake Pads Extra’s: I include a spare set of part worn Michelin 2CT dual compound tires that I was planning on fitting once the current tires needed replacing. The rear (the original) has around 1000 miles left and the front is still new as I had a puncture in the original which I had replaced with a Michelin Pilot Power as I was on the road at the time and that’s all the local tire dealer had, a good tire.. I also have kept all the stock parts which include the original exhaust complete with all mounting hardware and the original clear screen. This bike offers real world practicality, Suzuki marketed this as ‘The All Day Sportbike’ and I couldn’t agree more, it combines GSX looks, but is very comfortable due to a great seat and easy to reach handlebars. This enables you to easily achieve 600 mile days without getting off in discomfort. The MRA screen has improved an already very good stock screen to make freeway work very comfortable. With a re-tuned GSXR 4 cylinder engine it provides a good (useable) midrange of power with a great progressive swift build up of power when opened up. This allows overtakes to be a breeze and powering out of a turn very fun. The handling is excellent and with the upgraded heavier weight oil in the forks it copes with corners with ease. Brakes work great with 4 pot calipers up front and HH EBC pads, you won’t want for more braking power. Fuel economy is very good with a 5 gallon fuel tank I consistently can achieve 180-200 mile tank range.
