Vehicle Detail
This is a nice example of a stock 1985 Honda V65 Sabre motorcycle. The bike has 12,928 miles and is the oem black, gray with red stripe color combination. This was put away several years ago into a controlled climate storage. The paint is nice and there are no dents, no rips or cracks. There is also no rust. The carburetors have been professionally rebuilt and have zero miles. The bike runs nice with no transmission issues. All of the switches and controls work. I just purchased a new battery and have yet to install it. There are some scratches in the finish on the tail section from a backrest the previous owner had installed. The gauges are clear with no cracks anywhere. The tires are new and the brakes are new. It was starting to snow when I took these pictures, so there are a lot of snow flakes that fell on the motorcycle.. I encourage anyone in the area to stop by and see it- you won't be disappointed. I can arrange delivery for this if you would like me to.. If you have less than 10 feedbacks, please contact me first before bidding. Thanks for looking and feel free to ask any questions you have On Jan-29-11 at 20:05:19 PST, seller added the following information: I have had some of the same questions from several different people so I thought I would just add the information here: Yes, all of the gauges work(including the clock). The clock was not on in the pictures I took because the old battery was weak and finally went dead from sitting so long and I have yet to install the new one I just bought. I will do that shortly.. The sight windows on the clutch & front brake reservoirs are original and they almost look new and the seat does not have any tears in it anywhere. I forgot to mention that the previous owner replaced the front fork seals. Also, when I got the bike the rear caliper was sticking, so I sat down one day and completely disassembled the calipers(all 3), cleaned everything and carefully reassembled and installed. And since I know what I am doing- they work great... I don't think the auction mentions it, but I do have a paypal account and you can pay the deposit via paypal if you prefer.. I hope this helps, thanks again
