Vehicle Detail

I am listing this car for my cousin, who is not too computer savvy. I have inspected the car and will do my best to answer all questions with all honesty, and do please ask all questions before you bid. This is a very solid all original car that has had one repaint 3 years ago. It has all of its original sheetmetal and original drive train, nothing has been done to the drive train except a new carb installed, he does have the original one. The car has 51,447 original miles on it, and some of the gaskets or seals are dried up and leaking, looks like the rear main is leaking to me, the motor is dry on top and wet on the bottom, the motor has never been out of the car. The car runs and drives really nice. He did install disk brakes on the front. It has the 332 in it I think with what appears to be a 2 speed automatic. The repaint was the outside of the car and door jams only, engine compartment and trunk are original paint and with a little clean up would look really nice, there are acouple of blemishes on the paint he let a door fall against the car and it scratched it, it has been touched up see pics, over all it is still pretty nice but not show. There is NO RUST on the car all the pan are original the car was undercoated from the factory it appears. but it is solid the doors open and close very nice and easy. all the glass is original with one small crack on the passengers door window at the top of the glass in the front corner, it is not very noticable. The interior is all original and in really nice shape for 42 years old, the headliner is nice and tight and clean, the carpet still shows decent, the front seat has a small cracking place on the vinyl on the side of the seat on the drivers side again not real noticeable, but I am really impressed with the original interior. All of the crome looks very nice and clean, with the exception of a couple of the trim pieces around the side glasses. He had the original wheels and hub caps, the original hubs for the front from when he put the disks on, the antenna and the fender mounted mirror but hasn't came up with any of it yet, if he does it will be included in the auction, but the auction is without these parts at this point. I will updated if anything shows up. I reserve the right to end the auction at any time or cancel bids with 0 or negative feedback. Also the car has new tires on it, thanks. On Jan-22-11 at 16:15:29 PST, seller added the following information: I didn't get a picture of the small scratch that has been touched up loaded, can't add any more pics, it is hard to see because of the glare any ways, it is not very big, this is a very nice car that I may be nit picking, but trying to be honest, I don't know if you could find a more solid low mileage original car with these colors and trim package, it is a beautiful car, anyone is welcome to come and inspect the car and if the winner is not pleased with it then they don't have to take it, but ask all questions before you bid that way you will know what you are getting. My cousin doesn't need the money he just take spelled to want to clean out some inventory from his garage, so if you are interested bid because he does tend to change his mind quite often. ThanksOn Jan-22-11 at 16:19:06 PST, seller added the following information: Also the car has brand new exhaust on it. ThanksOn Jan-23-11 at 13:21:26 PST, seller added the following information: Ok upon further inspection I put the car on a lift and talked with my cousin he already had a rear main installed so part of the oil I seen was from not being cleaned off and the rest is from the valve covers they are both leaking from the back and streaming down the back of the motor, the bottom of the car is solid, I found two spots at the back of the car that are what I call body braces or supports that have small spots in them that are rusted it is not the pans themself a very easy fix, the car has these body braces from front to back and it is just the very back braces on both sides, a couple of small patches and they are fixed, you won't be dissapointed with how solid and original this car is. Thanks
