All looks great only have small crack on dash padThe Gran Sport has always been parked in a garage, The paint job is close to 10 years old and shows some sign of wear but still looks good, The original owner rebuilt the transmission, engine, and many other details in his possession. She runs like new. The last owner also took great care of the car and put a lot of time and $ to up keep the car up and always runs and look great. here's a list of things he did New distributor, exhaust (flow masters with 3" chrome tips), Rochester carburetor, re-chromed both bumpers (but are now showing wear), coil springs, ball joints, radiator, fuel pump, tires, c.d.player, an alarm system, speakers, sway bar link kit, spark plugs, fuel pump line, starter, upper arms for suspension, transmission mounting rod, tinted windows, vinyl top, chrome grill, K&N air filter. I have a large folder of receipts of all the work dun to carYou can tell by the photos it's still got its unique original look, even though it's had a few modern aspects added on. It gets anywhere from 13-15 miles to the gallon, which is really good for a 5.7 liter, V8, 350 motor. It has great pickup and you'll find everyone want to talk to you about your car. 1972 Models Vin# Decoder Vin# 4G37K2Z113283 1st Digit - Division 4 = Buick 2nd Digit - Series D = Skylark F = Sportwagon G = GS H = Skylark Custom 3rd and 4th Digits - Body Style 27 = 2 Door Post Coupe 36 = 4 Door Station Wagon 37 = 2 Door Hardtop Coupe 39 = 4 Door Hardtop Sedan 67 = 2 Door Converible 69 = 4 Door Sedan 5th Digit - Engine Code H = 350-2bbl V8 J = 350-4bbl V8 K = 350-4bbl V8 (GS) U = 455-4bbl V8 (GS455) V = 455-4bbl V8 (Stage 1) 6th Digit - Model Year 2 = 1972 7th Digit - Assembly Plant C = South Gate, MI G = Framingham, MA H = Flint, MI X = Fairfax, KS Y = Wilmington, DE Z = Freemont, CA Last 6 Digits - Production Number Vin# 4G37K2Z113283 4 = Buick G = GS 37 = 2 Door Hardtop Coupe K = 350-4bbl V8 (GS) 2= 1972 Z = Freemont, CA 113283 = Production Number More photos @ http://www.kodakgallery.com/gallery/creativeapps/slideShow/Main.jsp?sourceId=533754321803&cm_mmc=eMail-_-Share-_-Photos-_-Sharee If you have any questions or want more photos, email me or call 858-442-9068 CJ On Jan-08-11 at 19:51:50 PST, seller added the following information: I have been informed from someone that clams to know a lot about Buicks and probably more then me that, there is no such thing as a 350 GS (stage 2). There is no question that it is a true 350 GS but what is in question is the Stage 2. I must admit I have no way of proving it is or is not a stage 2. Nor do I even know what a stage 2 is on such a car. I was told when I got the car that it was a stage 2. I have seen other 1972 Buick GS 350 Stage 2 cars for sale on the internet so I don’t know what to say about this. If any one know more info on the Buick Stage 2 please let me know.
