This classic was last purchased in 2007 from an old lady. The car had been sitting a long time and was not running. It was easily brought to running condition. It appears to be all original and all there. The mileage looks to be actual. The body is in pretty good shape and the paint appears to be original as well, so yes, it has a small amount of fading on the satin tan on both the trunk and hood (which are factory fiberglass skinned from Hurst, with special hood pins). It looks like someone did some fiberglass work inside the trunk and primed it red. The interior headliner is dry and starting to tear in several spots. The only problem with the leather seats is that the string used to sew them together is deteriorating in some places, so it has tears at some of the sew lines front and back. Everything works except the vacuum switch for the trunk, (there is an override cable under the dash). The A/C is good and the 8 track player should be working too. It runs good and drives great. All the power options work: seats, windows, locks and such. All the lights work including the hideaway headlights. This car can be driven across the country! Tires are new including the spare. The chrome is very nice. It has a few small dings on it, but no dents. There are a few chips in the paint, but other than that it's very good. The pin striping is missing in a few spots. The car has the TNT 375 hp 440 Engine. The production amount of these beauties was between 485-500 cars. Hurst added custom rims, a fiberglass bulge hood with twist locks, a spoiler and a Satin Tan paint to the Chrysler 300. This car is in very good original condition.
