This listing is for a beautiful 1972 Volkswagen Beetle. Here is a listing of all the work done to this car. German Motor Works, Garden Grove, California, did the following work: Replaced front end ball joints Replace tie rod ends, and steering dampener Align front end Replace F/R brake hoses and I/R wheel cylinders Replace rear brake shoes and machine drums Repack rear wheel bearings, replace right outer bearing Replace oil grease seals Replace front wheel bearings, and grease seals Machine front drums Replace master cylinder, stop light switches and shoes, bleed brake system Replace F/R shocks Replace shift rod bushing We have done the following to this car: 5 new tires new seat upholstery seal rail bushings new door panels new headliner rebuild doors, including new scrapers, channels, wing window rubber, door seals new carpet, including behind the seat and under the hood new glove-box new SONY CD receiver with iPod control, auxiliary and USB inputs, new 6 1/2" speakers new window seals new muffler new visors and clips Marina blue paint engine rubber hood and deck-lid rubber fuel sending gauge new bumpers new running boards new clutch new throw out bearing new windshield new wiring cover tail light lenses wiper blades Great running 1600 engine, we changed out the tranny, the original roared. Shifts great, no noises. This is quite an exceptional little car. It has no rust, the pans are great. It has been kept inside most of it's life. We have all the maintainence records for this car, from the original purchase. It sits up very nicely. It has less than 100 miles since the restoration. If you are looking for a nice VW, this is it. The original wheels are pained Marina Blue as is the car. The wheels will be either / or not both sets. Buyer will need to let me know which set they want.
