1961 Ford Sunliner Convertible You are looking at a 2 owner 1961 Ford Galaxie 500 Sunliner. This car has always been garaged and is in excellent running condition. This car is super straight and still has about 80% of its original paint. She has her original 292 CID motor and will take you anywhere.The car is mostly original minus the top , carpets, seat covers and 9" Ford rear end. This car is void of any rust issues and the trunk, floors and body are WEST COAST SOLID! The second owner has owned the car for about 20 years and put a total of 10k miles on her. She saw more rain during the picture shoot then in the previous 20 years. The 292 is in excellent running condition. She runs out smoothly and is very tight. She has 4k miles on the newer brakes and shocks. The rear end was changed out for better road worthiness and that's about all that has been changed. This is a great cruiser. I have faith she will take you anywhere.The body on this car is in excellent condition. The chrome is original but still has plenty of shine and far from needing attention. The trim is in very good condition as well. The headlight and tail light trim is ding free which is usually not the case.The interior in great shape with newer carpets and newer seat upholstery.
