11981 Datsun 280ZX. ONE OWNER, **NOTE** Actual Vin # is: JN1H204S7BX412739 (for some reason it wouldn't load). Car runs and drives well, very quick. Sorry, I'll list all info later on tonight. thanks. On Jan-17-11 at 22:41:03 PST, seller added the following information: 1981 DATSUN 280 ZX, one owner California Car. Was bought new back in Dec. 1981. This car starts right up and goes, great acceleration and speed, tranny shifts fine as well. EXTERIOR: Still in original condition except for a recent Metallic Silver Paint job. Looks like new now. All trim is still on the car and in good shape. Original "moon roof" T-Tops. All lights, glass and lenses are in good shape. Original Alloy wheels look good, but could use a good polishing. Has a removable rear black louvre. INTERIOR: Overall the interior is in good shape for the year with some of the usual wear and tear. Dash is pretty nice but does have a few cracks, and on the right dash speaker grille. Console and lower console are fine. Carpet is intact except for a spot on the driver's side. Rear carpet is intact and not too faded. Door panels are good and bottom carpet is still nice. Headliner and T-Top covers are good, but one cover is bent on one corner (see pic). The original seats are good but the fabric has rips in them, the driver seat has more on the bottom cushion, the pas side is better with only two smaller rips on the top cushion/backrest. Currently has seat covers on them. All the seat functions work well. All lights, interior lights, power windows, blower, wipers, radio work. FLAWS: Pas. side emblem is missing, the rear louvre locks are missing, there are a couple of minor dings on the rear of the body, the steering wheel column plastic is faded (light green) (see pic). antenna is not going up or down, there are some rust bubbles on the T-top corners, some of the vinyl in the rear compartment/trunk need re-glueing. AC is not working, but all equipment is there. Comes with the collapsible spare tire and tools, Registration is expired by 2 months and owes $164 at the DMV. Overall a nice complete car, great example for this year and model. Great investment. I go through the car and do a check list of what is working or not, and any defects. I also drive the car for a few days to see how she "feels". Car was bought at a Benefit sale and title is in the name of the donor , But it's signed by them, and I have the bill of sales that go with it.
