2001 Volkswagen golf TDI, GL , (rare) very hard to find 2 door hatch with 5 speed manual in Excellent condition. This car was purchased four years ago at a dealer in Winchester Va. 75,000mi for $11,000. turbo charged diesel looks similar to GTI but gets 45-50 mpg, can run on biodiesel and diesel, front wheel drive, 4 cylinder 1.9L, tinted windows, cruise control works great, good air conditioning & heater, smoke-free, original paint, no accidents, no rust damage but very few very minor hail dings shown in picture on hood & are not really noticeable at all, keyless entry & locking key remote but needs to be locked manually in order to set the alarm, also the driver side mirror needs a screw, other than that this car is mechanically sound. New timing belt, new glow plugs, new battery, tuned up, runs great, AMS oil, performance exhaust system, performance tuner/fuel saver chip, am/fm/cd player with XM direct hook up and antenna, Akita 17” hyper silver rims and one spare, sub woofer with amp, great torque and horsepower, this car is fast and fuel efficient. This car is female driven and was used as a commuter to college. I am also open for trade only for a 4x4 Ford Escape Hybrid of equal or similar value.The reason for selling is because I need an SUV with 4x4 for work. Just got the VW professionally detailed inside and out, seats/carpet shampooed in excellent condition and car is waxed. If you were planning on buying you can come look at the car before you pay. it is now located in Blacksburg Va.
