This auction is for my very clean and low mileage Daytona 955i Centennial Edition - there were only 200 of these manufactured. I have owned this bike for about 3 years and ridden it about 1500 miles. It has never been raced - or laid down. It runs very nice - starts easily and idles fine. The bike runs smoothly and the tries are in good condition - rear tire having about 35% left on it. I am selling it as I do not have the chance to ride it that often and it is not good for me to commute with. It is a very beautiful bike and a very good bargain as these type of sport bikes go.This is a 2002 limited-production Centennial Edition (CE) Daytona 955i. The 955i CE has several noteworthy additions to and differences from the non-CE '02 DSSA Daytona 955i: One colour option of Aston (British Racing) Green, which was offered only on the 2002 955i Centennial Edition.Carbon fibre inlaid panels between the gas tank and tail fairing.Carbon fibre rear wheel hugger.Single-sided swing arm (like the previous and later Daytona 955i).Forged steel crankshaft, forged steel connecting rods, and forged aluminium pistons; non-CE 955i engines had cast versions of these components. These engine components are the most distinctive CE-specific options, and increased the maximum power output significantly compared to the cast-component engines.Last fall it was parked in front of my apartment and someone backed into it and knocked it over which cracked some of the body work and put some scratches in it. I just finished having the cracks repaired and all the scratched areas repainted. It looks beautiful and the blend is nearly perfect - I cannot see evidence of it. It still has 2 small scratches on the left side case (very minor). I removed the parking sticker from the tail section and it still shows a little adhesive which will come off easily. I replaced the battery last year and it is still good. I have several spares I bought for it which will go with it - also has a bike cover and a piece that covers the passenger seat as well as a separate fairing visor.
