1973 Volkswagen Beetle, this car had over $5,000.00 sank into it in 2004 by it's previous owner, It features Chrome Empi Wheels, It has been lowered 2'' in the front, It has a scat pack shifter with a full console. Car also has reclyning seats, Custom velour interior, Oak Grant GT steering wheel, I believe he said it was an empi guage cluster which features brass enclosed guages,Old style fuel tank, tinted glass, solid glass front doors,front turn signals have been shaved, low profile sport mirrors, Car comes with a Stinger exhaust tip which I removed for towing purposes. Dual port 65 hp engine. Car runs good but needs the clutch cable adjusted, it has not been a driver since 2005, it is an excellent starting point for someone wanting to build a show quality bug. Car is in need of some minor bodywork, it does have some white primer on it in spots, has some paint flaking, minor small surface rust spots and it needs a good paint job. It is not road worthy until the clutch cable is adjusted out on it but it will crank up and drive onto your trailer. The floorpans and heater channels are all very solid, as is the trunk pan. No suprises, what you see is what you get. It does not have a title, it is not required in Georgia on pre 85 vehicles, HOWEVER it does come with the Georgia registration and a legal bill of sale, which your State will be able to issue a title to you with, if your State requires a title on classic vehicles. Please ask all questions prior to bidding, there will be a Low reserve on this car. Payment is due in full within 5 days of auction end, after paid you may have up to 30 days to arrange transport. The 62 is not part of the auction but it is for sale, it is a very good body, the air vents over the hood are not bent or rusted, original engine will run, has new fuel tank, all trim for the body, new floorpans that need welded in place, heater channels are good, email me if interested, it comes with bill of sale only.
