1966 Fairlane 500. Original 76,000 Mile..... TRUE S CODE BIG BLOCK 4 SPEED POSI GT BEAUTY!!!. Last tagged in 1986. An Original candy apple red fairlane 500 GT. Engine and transmission look to be original to the Fairlane. Correct GT 390 cubic inch engine, 14 bolt HIPO heads. 4 speed big spline toploader, Blowbroof bellhousing, Offenhouser 4 barrel aluminum intake, New Holley 750 double pumper. Dual point Mallory distributor, The rear end is nine inch 4:31 axle ratio With 31 spline axles. Also a posi Traction with ladder bars. The fairlane has been sitting in storage for a fews. All windows roll up and down. All glass is good, no cracks. Front glass does have wiper marks. Stainless on entire car very nice. front and rear bumper showing pitting. Back seat is very nice. .. A very nice front driver and front passenger seat are included. They need recovered to match the rest of interior. The chrome around both seats are very nice, have a couple different sets of seat backs that also go with Fairlane. The front seats that are in car now are from a 1969 mach one. I would like to keep these please. But buyer may purchase them at extra cost. I will bolt the included fairlane seats in place of the mach one seats. There is also a black fiberglass hood that will go with the car. Paint on fairlane is average good driver quality. You are not looking at show paint by any means. A good solid driver paint needing litght body work and paint. More items include All four original gt rims with beauty rings, a complete set of headliner bows, New rubber weatherstrip for decklid, Original rear view mirror. The engine looks to be original. It is a 390 Gt Engine heads are dated 1966 . Sounds very healthy probably a roller engine. Frame rails, shock towers, trunk floors all look good. She could use a front driver and passenger front floor pan. This is an excellent light duty restoration muscle car. This fairlane has just about every single item any hard working man could ever want in an old hotrod. Is not perfect by any means. Needs just a little bit of everything. Just needs someone to give a new home. This is an excellent Highly collectible muscle car. Very rare. Clear title, Matching original door tag, Matching radiator suppot vin numbers. Happy bidding
